Jose Paolo B. David, General Manager

Mr. David received his MBA with Honors and was Class Valedictorian from Fordham University, Graduate School of Business and Beijing International MBA (BiMBA) at Peking University. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1996. Mr. David is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honour society for business students.

Mr. David was Assistant Vice President, Marketing & Sales for Ford Group Philippines, Inc. Mr. David was responsible for the Philippines product strategy and vehicle line management for both Ford and Mazda brands. In addition to his responsibilities in the Philippines, Mr. David was also part of the ASEAN Marketing & Sales team that developed and executed new product marketing initiatives for Ford ASEAN. Prior to his stint at FGP, Mr. David worked at Ford Asia Pacific (WHQ) in Dearborn, Michigan where he worked in Business Planning and Product Development for commercial vehicles.

Mr. David brings his expertise in business management and his passion for excellence to the Math Coach team.

Anna Milagros D. Datu, Academic Director

Ms. Mian Datu graduated magna cum laude from the Ateneo de Manila University, with a degree in Economics (Honors Program) in 2001. She received the Department Award upon graduation, as well as the Best Undergraduate Thesis for her econometrics paper “Investments Under Uncertainty” . She is a MacPhellin Awardee for Excellence in Economics and was an active member of various organizations, including the Harvard Project for Asia and International Relations (where she was EVP) and the Ateneo Math Society. She finished Valedictorian from Miriam High School and Salutatorian from St. Theresa's College.

Ms. Datu is now Regional Brand Manager at Unilever Asia where she is in charge of the Rexona Core Range for Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Before joining the Rexona regional team, Ms. Datu was Associate Brand Manager of Surf, which achieved the highest-ever value share for the brand in 2004, overtaking Tide's 25 years of market dominance.

Ms. Datu brings her excellent academic background and international perspective to the Math Coach team. She is in charge of ensuring the highest level of academic excellence in the center.
